United will not let De Gea go unless they get Ramos
David de Gea will not be a Real Madrid player this summer unless Los Blancos allow Sergio Ramos to move in the other direction.
De Gea was widely expected to swap Old Trafford for the Santiago Bernabeu this summer but United are using him as a method to sign Madrid vice-captain Sergio Ramos.
The Premier League club's latest move is to tell Madrid to lower their asking price for Ramos or not sign De Gea this summer, according to The Guardian.
Repots suggest the Old Trafford club have already lowered De Gea's asking price and are expecting Florentino Perez to do the same with Ramos. Madrid value their club icon at €90 million and United are not willing to bid that high.
De Gea is currently in Spain enjoying the final days of his holiday but he is required back in Manchester on Monday when United return for pre-season training.
