Real Madrid have confirmed that Santiago Solari has penned a contract until the end of the 2020/21 season to be the club's permanent first team head coach.
Solari had been in temporary control since the sacking of Julen Lopetegui, overseeing four straight wins during his time at the helm.
Los Blancos had to secure a permanent successor to Lopetegui on Monday due to Spanish FA rules and sent the paperwork on Monday morning.
The club only announced the new deal on Tuesday night, however, in a deal which will see the Argentine through to the summer of 2021.
