Medrán looking to take advantage of Getafe loan move
Real Madrid youngster Alvaro Medrán says his season-long loan move to Getafe is "a good opportunity" for him to develop as a player.
Medrán featured in the first-team squad under Carlo Ancelotti last season but has made the short trip across the Spanish capital in search of more regular La Liga action this season.
He follows in the footsteps of players such as Esteban Granero and Pedro Leon in making the move to the Coliseum and says those previous moves played a part in him deciding to choose Getafe.
"Other Madrid players have developed here before and that was an influencing factor for me; the coach spoke to me about what he wanted and that gave me confidence," Medran told AS. showed that he is a coach who likes to play attractive football and he’s come here with the same intentions ”.
Medrán was linked with a move to hometown club Cordoba last season but their relegation thwarted that deal with Madrid keen for the youngster to continue plying his trade in the top flight.
