What is it with Real Madrid and Brazil's top young talent? Vinicius Jr. arrived in the Spanish capital this summer and Rodrygo could arrive at the European champions as early as January - but Los Blancos may not stop there.
Leo Santos is the latest name to be linked with a move to Madrid according to today's edition of Marca. The Corinthians defender is said to have impressed Madrid scouts during a tournament in Spain three years ago. With the 19-year-old maturing as had been hoped, Madrid are set to follow-up their initial interest.
Santos has a contract until 2020 and Los Blancos could firm up their interest should the young defender impress in the South American U20 Championships in January.
Meanwhile in AS, fuel has been added to the albeit-dimming fire linking Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane with a move to Spain.
The England forward has long been linked with a move to Los Blancos, something aided by Karim Benzema's failing form, and AS picked up on Luka Modric's quotes ahead of Croatia's clash with England. The Ballon d'Or hopeful said Kane is "already one of the best in the world" but whether that convinces Madrid they need to sign the Spurs forward remains to be seen.
