James Rodríguez has been heavily linked with a move away from Real Madrid in the winter transfer window and Everton have emerged as candidates for the Colombian's signature. Carlo Ancelotti's move to the Premier League club has resulted in the Italian looking to sign the out-of-favour attacker on an initial loan deal. Ancelotti worked with the former Monaco and Porto man at Madrid and also during his time on loan at Bayern Munich. Now the Italian wants to take the Colombia international to the Premier League on a loan deal that could become permanent should it suit all parties in the summer. Despite featuring for Los Blancos this season James is out-of-favour under Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane and Madrid are now keen to cash-in on the player to enable further signings in the summer.
