Iker Casillas all set for Porto move
Iker Casillas' move to Porto is set to be confirmed in the coming hours.
The goalkeeper had already reached an agreement with the Portuguese giants and all that was missing was an agreement with Real Madrid over the parting terms of his contract.
Now those details that were holding up the move are all-but finalised, with only the signatures of all three parties missing, according to AS.
Casillas was at Madrid's training base on Friday as the squad returned to pre-season training but he was the first to leave, according to the AS report and the draft contracts were drawn up on Friday afternoon.
Madrid have agreed to make-up the shortfall in his contract with Porto. Casillas was standing to earn €24 million gross for the final two years of his Madrid deal and Porto could only afford to match a fraction of that, with reports suggesting he will earn €8 million for the two years he spends in Portugal. Madrid will make-up the rest.
The move could be confirmed today, Saturday, but it remain to be seen whether the goalkeeper will hold a farewell press conference at the Bernabeu.
