Home is where the heart is for Madrid

There was no match for Real Madrid this weekend following the postponement of El Clásico, but the break gives Zinedine Zidane and his men time to gear-up for what's set to be a telling November for Los Blancos. Five of Madrid's next six matches through until the end of November take place at the Santiago Bernabéu, giving Los Blancos the chance to gain some much-needed momentum domestically and in Europe. All three of their forthcoming matches are at home, with Leganés making the short trip across the capital on Wednesday before Real Betis visit in LaLiga and Galatasaray are the visitors in a crucial Champions League clash. The last two matches of this six-game run are the toughest, at home against Paris Saint-Germain and an in-form Real Sociedad, but November gives Madrid a great chance to pick up some valuable points - and also ramp up the confidence levels following an indifferent start to the campaign. The postponement of the clash against Barcelona has also given Madrid time to continue the recoveries of players such as Gareth Bale and Lucas Vázquez, who have been nursing injuries of late.
