Gareth Bale set to stay at Real Madrid
Gareth Bale has no intention of leaving Real Madrid this summer, according to his agent.
The Welshman is surplus to requirements in the Spanish capital and did not even make the squad for Los Blancos' final game of the LaLiga season at Leganes on Sunday night.
Bale has two years left to run on his contract, however, and despite not being part of coach Zinedine Zidane's plans, is not expected to leave according to his agent Jonathan Barnett.
"Gareth is fine. He has two years left on his contract," he told BBC Sport.
"He likes living in Madrid and he is going nowhere. He is still as good as anyone else in the team. It's up to Zinedine Zidane."
The 31-year-old was due to leave Madrid last summer, with his destination being the Chinese Super League, but Los Blancos pulled the plug on the deal with no transfer fee being offered despite a huge wage offer.
