David de Gea's move to Real Madrid seems no closer after the goalkeeper confirmed he would return to England to start pre-season with Manchester United. De Gea has been on holiday in Madrid and gave a few words to Spanish television channel Cuatro about his future. "Real Madrid? I have to return to Manchester for pre-season," said the goalkeeper when asked about a possible move to the Bernabeu. De Gea went on to say he was "calm" about his future but did not give anything else away. Louis van Gaal has called on his United squad to return for pre-season training tomorrow, Monday, and is expected to hold talks with the Spain international. United are reported to be only willing to let De Gea leave Old Trafford this summer if Madrid allow Sergio Ramos to move in the other direction. De Gea can leave the club on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer.
