Camavinga talk hots up in Madrid
The Coronavirus pandemic has not stopped speculation about potential summer targets for Real Madrid.
The pandemic may have short and long-term ramifications for the transfer market but Eduardo Camavinga's name continues to be linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabéu.
Both Marca and AS have reported that the Rennes midfielder could come in as competition for Casemiro in the heart of Madrid's midfield.
Zinedine Zidane has long been looking to bolster his midfield options with Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek previously linked with a move to the Spanish capital.
Camavinga is said to be valued at €50 million by Rennes but AS has reported that a potential stumbling block for a move this year could be the French club's involvement in next season's Champions League. Rennes sit third in Ligue 1 and the player is said to have an agreement with his club to remain next season should they reach the world's premium knock-out competition.
The current global situation has left things up in the air for the player and both clubs but Camavinga remains a top priority for Zidane and Los Blancos.
