After the Lord Mayor's show for Madrid
Real Madrid return to LaLiga action on Saturday and Zinedine Zidane's men will be out to make sure it's not a case of 'after the Lord Mayor's show' following the Spanish Super Cup success.
Los Blancos host Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabéu in their first home match of 2020 and will be welcomed onto the pitch by a guard of honour from their Andalusian visitors.
Zidane will be keen to ensure Madrid don't flop on their return to LaLiga action, however, with Seville proving a tricky opponent as Los Blancos look to maintain the pace alongside Barcelona at the top of the table.
Sevilla pushed Madrid all the way in the return fixture, which Madrid edged 1-0 in Seville earlier this season, and will have the added factor of Julen Lopetegui's return to his former home.
Madrid will have problems of their own to deal with with Fede Valverde missing due to a one-match suspension, while Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and captain Sergio Ramos are all fighting to be fit for the clash. Eden Hazard will definitely be missing.
